Boiled eggs

Eggs are healthy. One egg contains around 80 calories and 6-8 grams of protein. The best way to prepare eggs is to boil them.



  1. Into a pot, pour enough water to cover your eggs.
  2. Bring the water to a boil.
  3. Using a spoon, carefully place each egg into the pot.
  4. Start a timer:
    • 6.5 minutes = soft-boiled
    • 8 minutes = medium-boiled
    • 10+ minutes = hard-boiled
  5. When timer ends, quickly place eggs in ice-cold water.
  6. Let eggs sit in cold water for at least 5 minutes. Dry them using a towel afterwards.
  7. Enjoy your eggs with a pinch of salt (remember to peel them first).
